22 Lions
In the 1860s the Dutch Government decided to build a new railway line right through the heart of Amsterdam's harbour. The railway bridges across the passages alongside the new Central Station were later decorated with twenty-two large stone lions. Only three decades after the bridges were completed, the lions were already removed and seemed to have vanished, until they reoccurred some decades later in city parks and private back yards.

4990photo
4990photo is a research on the (usually undesirable) irregularities that appear while scanning negatives or slides. Subsequently we categorized them, according to the different shapes and constellations in which they appeared.
